UV printing uses UV-curable inks, which offer better durability and a naturally glossy finish. As a result, areas printed with UV ink appear brighter and more visually striking. 

UV printing is also a digital printing process, making it ideal for small production runs. 

For quantities under 5,000 pieces, UV printing is usually more cost-effective.

Offset printing is the most widely used industrial-scale label printing method. The colors appear more natural and consistent, though less glossy than UV ink, and color variation is typically minimal. 

Offset printing is better suited for large production runs, and for quantities over 5,000 pieces, it generally offers a more competitive price.

1. For UV Printing:

If you are using UV printing, “No Finish” is the most common choice. UV inks naturally have a glossy appearance, so the printed areas will already appear bright and shiny.

If you want the entire label to have a glossy finish rather than only the printed areas, you can choose “Gloss Laminate.”

If you prefer the entire label to have a matte look, choose “Matte Laminate.” This will reduce the natural gloss of UV ink and create a uniform matte appearance across the label.

2. For Offset Printing:

Offset inks do not have natural gloss, so the final surface appearance depends entirely on the finish you choose.

   - For a matte effect, choose “No Finish” or “Matte Laminate.”

   - For a high-gloss effect, choose “Gloss Laminate.”

   - For a finish between matte and gloss, choose “Gloss Coat.”, which provides a subtle sheen without being overly shiny.

A layer of UV coating is applied to selected areas of the label, creating a glossy, raised effect that draws attention to important design elements.

  - Foil Stamping

Colored foil is applied to key elements like logos or slogans to create a metallic finish.

With offset printing, hot foil stamping is used, so the surface remains flat without a raised effect.

  - Spot Gloss UV

A glossy UV coating is applied to selected areas to create shine and contrast. Unlike raised Spot UV used in UV printing, this finish is flat and not raised.

  - Spot Texture UV

A textured, matte UV coating is applied to selected areas, creating a fine grain or frosted texture, similar to a frosted glass effect.

  - Reverse UV

A fine matte UV coating is applied across most of the label surface, creating a high-transparency look with subtle fine texture, while selected areas remain smooth for contrast.

Our removable roll labels are made of eco-friendly BOPP material with a thickness of about 5.1 mil (1 mil is equal to 0.001 inches or 0.0254 millimeters.).

Coat is a thin coating applied only to the printed areas. It enhances the visual texture and gives the label a more premium look, but offers light protection.

Laminate is a full-coverage film applied over the entire label surface. It provides much stronger durability—better resistance to water, scratches, oils, and handling.

In short:

  - Coat: Better texture & visual effect

  - Laminate: Better protection & durability

Manual application rolls come in random core sizes and unwind directions, while machine application allows you to specify both the core size and the label unwind direction.

No, you don’t need to include bleed or a die line. The size you enter when ordering will be the exact final label size.

Please make sure the label size in your design file matches the size you submit with your order to avoid any errors.

Production and shipping times depend on your production method, finish complexity, order size, and chosen shipping option.

    - Standard Production: Typically 4-6 business days.

    - Rush Production: Typically 2-3 business days.

For orders over 30,000 pieces or with speical finishes, production may require an additional 2–3 business days.

We offer multiple delivery options, from the fastest DHL Express (2–4 days) to the most economical Sea & Land Delivery (around 3 weeks).
