Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why is your MOQ 500? Can I order just 100?

Our roll labels are produced using offset printing, not digital printing.

This method is ideal for high-volume, professional-grade label production, which is why the minimum order quantity is 500.

  - If you need small-batch quantities, please consider our sheet labels.

  - If you need large quantities, special finishes, or the highest print quality, our roll labels are the better choice.

2. What’s the difference between "manual application" and "machine application"?

Manual application rolls come in random core sizes and unwind directions, while machine application allows you to specify both the core size and the label unwind direction.

3. Are your holographic roll labels waterproof and oil-resistant?

No. Our holographic roll labels are paper-based, so they are neither waterproof nor oil-resistant.

4. Are your holographic roll labels removable or permanent?

Our holographic roll labels here use a permanent adhesive.

If you need removable labels, please visit our "Removable Roll Labels" product page to place an order.

5. Do I need to include bleed or a die line in my design file?

No, you don’t need to include bleed or a die line. The size you enter when ordering will be the exact final label size.

Please make sure the label size in your design file matches the size you submit with your order to avoid any errors.

6. When can I receive my labels?

Production and shipping times depend on your production method, finish complexity, order size, and chosen shipping option.

1. Production Time

    - Standard Production: Typically 4-6 business days.

    - Rush Production: Typically 2-3 business days.

For orders over 30,000 pieces or with speical finishes, production may require an additional 2–3 business days.

2. Shipping Time

We offer multiple delivery options, from the fastest DHL Express (2–4 days) to the most economical Sea & Land Delivery (around 3 weeks).

You can choose the best fit based on your budget and timeline.

If you have a tight deadline, please contact us to make sure your deadline can be met.

7. Can I design my label on your website?

Sorry, our website doesn’t currently support design creation. You’ll need to upload your finished design file to us.

8. Can I send you my text and images for you to design the label for me?

Sorry, we provide printing services only and do not offer design services.

We can help prepare your file for printing, but we cannot adjust, modify, or create the design for you.

9. How can I create my design?

You can use a professional desktop application like Adobe Illustrator® or hire a designer to create your artwork.

Already have a file but not sure about it? Email our packaging experts at support@unikportrait.com for a review.

10. How can I determine the correct label size?

The easiest way is to ask your designer — they can create a mockup to help you confirm the exact label size.

If you’re designing the label yourself, print your design in several different sizes on paper, cut them out, and place them on your product to see which size fits best. Once you’ve found the right one, you can place your order using that confirmed size.
