Our Metal Labels are made with electroplated nickel, not ordinary metallic print, foil, or lower-cost copper-based alternatives. That’s what gives them a true metallic texture and a more premium, high-end look.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are Metal Labels real metal or just metallic-looking labels?
2. Can Metal Labels be applied to curved surfaces?
No. Metal Labels are designed for flat surfaces only and are not suitable for curved applications.
3. What surfaces do Metal Labels work best on?
They work best on clean, smooth, flat surfaces such as metal, glass, ceramic, plastic, wood, and paperboard packaging. For the best result, the surface should be flat and dry.
4. What is the minimum text size for Metal Labels?
The minimum text height is 2 mm. For the best result, we recommend a text height of 3 mm or above. Text between 2–3 mm may need to be connected to ensure successful production.
5. Can I get a proof before production?
Yes. If you select “Digital Proof Required” before adding to cart, we’ll send you a digital proof before production starts.
6. Can I order a custom sample with my own design?
No. Metal Labels are made through a multi-step electroplating process, and each custom design requires its own film, tooling, and setup.
In simple terms, making 1 custom sample costs nearly the same as producing 100 pieces, which is why our minimum order quantity is 100.
If you only want to preview the effect first, a random sample pack is also available.
7. Are Metal Labels easy to apply?
Yes. Simply place, press, and peel. No heat press is required, and the application process is as shown in the video.
